Recommended Online Courses for a good education
Escondido Tutorial Service, Fritz Hinrichs' Great Books-based tutorial
service, has a very good listing of resources for
classical education, and an extensive list of
online tutors offering a wide variety of subjects,
besides his own outstanding series of internet tutorials. His essay "Why
Classical Education" is an excellent elaboration of Sayers'
article and a useful description of the philosophy of
classical Christian education.
Some
online services not listed on ETS's site, but highly
recommended by Schola:
10 Talents Tutorials:
"10 Talents Tutorials seeks to instruct students in the ways
of economics, business and entrepreneurship. We believe
that God wants His people to excel at using the talents He
gives them for His glory and the betterment of mankind." Mr.
Jeff Perley is the instructor; he has many years of business
experience and a sound understanding, both practical and
theoretical, of conservative economic principles.

Services: Cindy Marsch has been offering evaluations of
the papers students write for Schola classes since the very
beginning of Schola. I highly recommend her, especially if
your child is taking Schola Great Books.
